🌳Tree Lab (Advanced)
Sophia Amundgaard
Sophia Amundgaard is a senior from Stillwater Area HS in Oak Park Heights, MN. She placed 7th at the 2025 NSDA National Tournament in International Extemp and finaled the Extemp Tournament of Champions (ETOC). She also reached semifinals at the 2025 NIETOC tournament, picket fencing prelims. Sophia is the top ranked speaker in MN and served as a coach at the 2025 EIF summer camp. She is looking forward to competing more on the national circuit this season and can’t wait to join the team!

Blake McFalls
Blake is a junior at Trinity Prep in Orlando, Fl. He's done extemp since freshman year and grown a massive love for the event. Traveling on the national circuit a lot, he's met amazing people and made many memorable experiences. Equality in Forensics allowed for him to join a great community, especially through coaching sessions last year. As a coach, he's excited to improve others in the same way coaches such as Téa, Sahana, and Max did for him. He can't wait to see you all!
Sadie Zwonitzer
Sadie is a senior at Cheyenne Wyoming and has been doing extemp since Sophomore year. She is currently the Wyoming State Champion. Most notably, Sadie won the James Logan MLK Invitational, a tier 4 national circuit tournament, and placed 17th at NIETOC. She can’t wait to work with everyone.
🌱Seedling Lab (Beginner)
Max Guo
Max has participated in Speech and Debate for 4 years, and has done Extemporaneous Speaking for 3.5 of those years. He has participated in large nationwide tournaments, including NSDA Nationals, at which he finaled in International Extemp. Max is co-president of his school's Speech and Debate Club, and teaches Extemp to lower school students on a weekly basis. In his free time, he likes to play chess... a little too much.Â
Daphne Kalir-Starr
Daphne Kalir-Starr is a junior from College Prep in Oakland, CA. She was a finalist at NSDA, Harvard, TOC, NIETOC, Stanford, James Logan, GMU, Emory, Bronx, and the reigning ETOC champion. Additionally, she has semi-finaled at Glenbrooks, Yale, Blue Key, and the Mineapple. To end the year, Daphne was the runner-up in the National Points Race and was also the only sophomore invited to the MBA Round Robin in 2025. She is very excited to work with you :)
