MAGNOLIA LAB (ADVANCED)
AUDREY HUANG
Audrey is a junior with seven years of experience in Policy and Congressional Debate, placing 10th at Yale, 13th at Harvard, 11th at CHSSA, and 12th at the Tournament of Champions, where she was the first freshman in the nation to final in TOC Congress. She currently serves as Deputy Director of Congress at Equality in Forensics, organizing all Congressional Debate coaching programs, leading national initiatives, and developing resources — and is excited to keep contributing to EIF’s mission of accessible, high-quality debate education.
CHAITH MITTAL
Grace has been involved in debate for three years and serves as the captain of the Hagerty Debate Team. In her time competing in congress she has placed 6th at NCFL Nationals, 9th in NSDA Senate Finals, Finaled Emory , 3rd at EIF round robin and semis at Yale, Sunvite and Blue Key . She served as a coach to the advanced lab at the EIF summer camp and private coach to high schoolers. Outside of debate, she's a gym rat who loves going out with friends, having beach days, listening to Lauryn Hill, volunteering in her community, and trying new recipes. As a coach she emphasizes simplicity, how to keep people engaged and most importantly bringing your personality into round. A debaters greatest strength is their unique self, as a coach she hopes to help every debater realize that and unlock their full potential. She’s super excited to work with this year's talent!
SEBASTIAN ASADY
Sebastian is a current junior at American Heritage Palm Beach, currently part of the team’s leadership as Vice President of Competition. As he’s been debating for 6 years, he had an exceptionally strong few years, becoming a finalist at tournaments such as Florida Blue Key and the Barkley Forum at Emory, and getting 2nd place at the Princeton Classic (twice), as well as winning Sunvite and finaling NSDA Nationals - Senate sophomore year. As a coach, he enjoys bringing out the personable and simple side of debating through exemplifying emotions and feelings. Furthermore, he enjoys working closely with mentors, peers and mentees to create argumentation that stems from personal backgrounds to enhance persuasion in round. Outside of debate, Sebastian enjoys a variety of water sports, traveling the world, and going out with friends. He can’t wait to be part of the effort to coach the next generation!

DANIEL SONG
Daniel is a senior at East Ridge High School in Minnesota, and he has competed in congressional debate for over 2 years. He has championed the Harvard Round Robin (2025), placed 2nd at the Tournament of Champions (2025), 9th at NSDA Nationals: Senate (2025), 6th at Harvard (2025), 3rd at Sunvite (2025), and finaled at Yale (2024). He is also a captain of his school’s Congress team. Outside of debate, he loves hanging out with friends, listening to music (especially Taylor Swift), yapping about politics, playing ping pong, reading, and traveling.
EMILIE FANN
Emilie has competed in Congressional debate for over 5 years on both the Illinois and National circuits. After peaking in 8th grade (not exclusive to debate), she has most notably championed the Harvard Round Robin, placed 4th at Yale, 5th at Emory, 8th at Harvard, and 10th at Glenbrooks. She has also semifinaled at several other national tournaments like TOC and NSDA Nationals. As a part of the Illinois All-State Team, she has placed first at nearly every single state tournament. When she’s not yapping in one form or another, she’s most likely found grinding Minesweeper, getting sweet treats, or playing an instrument.

AKSH DANTAL
Aksh started competing in 6th grade and attends school at Brecksville-Broadview Heights. High School in Northeast Ohio. His most notable Congress accomplishments are placing 4th at the Ohio State Finals and 9th at the UK Tournament of Champions. Aksh values hard-hitting rhetoric, sound argumentation, and word economy in speeches.

Hi, I’m Margaux! I am originally an extemper but switched to Congress last year and won 12th at NSDA Nationals in house, semifinaled TOC (+ more), and received an invitation to the Florida Blue Key Round Robin. I’m super passionate about the event and helping people wherever I can. Excited to work with you!

AUDREY HWANG
Audrey is a current junior at Pine View School in Florida where she serves as the captain of congressional debate and the vice president of her debate team. She has been in debate for around 3 years and has been consistently advancing to out rounds since her freshman year. Most notably, she’s received a FBK RR invite, semifinaled NSDA Nationals, semifinaled TOC, finaled NCFL Nationals and placed 4th at the Princeton Classic. As a coach, Audrey values clear argumentation with compelling presentation while also placing an emphasis on important impacts. Outside of debate, you can find her hanging out with her friends or studying at a cafe.
CADEN HUCKLEBRIDGE
Caden is a junior and speech and debate captain at PCDS. He has competed in congressional debate for 3 years and has earned 2nd at ASU Invitational, 5th place at the 2025 UK Tournament of Champions, and is the 2025 State Champion in congress. Beyond debate, he loves F1 racing, watching movies, and skiing. He can't wait to get started!
ELIZABETH XIAO
Liz is a senior at American Heritage Broward, and is entering her third year in Congressional Debate! Her accomplishments include finaling Sunvite, Tradition, and the Florida State Championship, as well as Semifinaling TOC and placing top 32 at NSDA in World Schools Debate. Outside of Congress, Liz dances, plays piano and guitar, and loves to yap. She coached the EIF beginner lab in the 2025 summer camp and loved watching kids improve --now, she is so excited to continue teaching at EIF!

AMBER LIN
Amber is a sophomore at Carroll High School in Texas. She's been involved in speech and debate since 6th grade, starting her career in interp events and transitioning to congress. Currently, she competes in congress, extemp, and world schools. During Amber's 8th grade year, she finaled Yale and semi-finaled TOC. As a freshman, Amber ranked top 6 at Emory, 3rd at Texas state, finaled the National Tournament, ranked 2nd at University of Texas, and semi-finaled Glenbrooks, Harvard, and TOC. Outside of debate you'll find Amber struggling to DJ, buying and taking care of plants, and thrifting! Amber is so excited to coach this semester!
PABLO GUEVARA
Pablo is a senior at Claremont High School in California. In his three years of doing Congress as a main event, he has notably made the final round at large regional tournaments like the Jack Howe Memorial Tournament, La Costa Canyon Winter Classic, James Logan MLK Jr. Invitational, and CHSSA State Tournament where he took home a respectable 3rd place in the state. He’s also qualified to the TOC with 4 bids and the National Tournament where he placed in the top half of Senate semifinals and hopes to final this year. Pablo specializes in writing intros, outros, and lines of rhetoric that stick in the minds of judges and help crystallize round-long debates. If he isn’t doing anything debate-related, he’s probably doing work with his local government or listening to all the 90s rap he can find on Spotify.
