Across Florida, the speech and debate circuit suffers from a significant lack of inclusion for the state's Hispanic community, which is often underrepresented and underserved in the competitive space. The Florida Chapter offers that inclusive community and is advocating to make meaningful changes within Florida to help debaters whether they're chapter members or not. The chapter plans to host workshops and online sessions while creating culturally-responsive training opportunities specifically aimed at supporting Hispanic and other underrepresented debaters throughout the Sunshine State.
