Nicholas Ostheimer is a senior at Florida Atlantic University and the founding Executive Director of Equality in Forensics. In high school, Nicholas led his debate team to NSDA Charter Chapter status, served on the inaugural NSDA Student Leadership Council, and was ranked as high as #1 in the nation across all speech and debate events.

Nicholas led Equality in Forensics as its Executive Director for four years, growing the organization from a group of four students wanting to make a difference to the nation's largest student-run speech and debate organization, with over 800 volunteers and $400,000 worth of resources created. Throughout that time, Nicholas led everything from tournaments and resources to coaching programs and the blog. His revolutionary vision helped Equality in Forensics grow into the nation's largest student-run speech and debate nonprofit, leading partnerships with the NSDA and defining the organization's vision: speech and debate for all.

He continues to offer guidance to the Board of Directors and give back to the speech and debate community in his advisory capacity as Chair of the Board Emeritus.
