Katie Gorman is an incoming junior at Frederick Gunn Academy in Connecticut, where she serves as founder and president of her team and competes in Congressional and Policy Debate.

After becoming a student for the Equality in Forensics congress coaching program, Katie joined the national staff, writing articles for the blog in April 2024. They were later promoted to Blog Editor-in-Chief, innovating the blog to become more solutions-focused and using a more creative Instagram format. She previously worked as Outreach Director, where she managed all front-facing communications of the organization.

As Executive Director, Katie leads the vision and planning of all Equality in Forensics programs and resources. They also run Executive Board meetings and manage the nonprofit's partnerships with other speech and debate organizations, including the NSDA.
