Boyana is a senior at Irondale High School in Minnesota, where she serves as captain of the speech and debate team and competes in Extemporaneous Speaking and Impromptu.

After participating in Equality in Forensics' Pre-NSDA Summer Camp in Extemp, Boyana joined the national staff as a reporter for the Red Folder and was soon promoted to Associate Editor under the leadership of Lindsey Zhao. There, she helped lead the expansion of the publication onto a new website and Instagram page, editing weekly briefs across both domestic and international news topics as the Red Folder grew into one of the organization's largest programs. Boyana also founded the Minnesota Chapter, where she served as Vice President.

As Speech Director, Boyana directs and leads the Resource Centers in Extemp, Interp, and Platform Speech events. She also supports the creation of weekly Extemp Questions and the Extemp Coaching program and leads staff recruitment across all NSDA speech events. She also helps lead the Extemp division of the Summer Camp and all other speech programs ran by Equality in Forensics.
