Athena is a junior studying Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Systems at Northwestern University. Her non-linear debate journey began while competing mock trial in Connecticut - where speech and debate was effectively nonexistent. 

She has since dedicated herself to mentoring high schoolers in scientific/essay writing, and serving as an executive of Northwestern's Associated Student Government and Emory College Council. After moving to Florida and leaping into Congressional Debate, Athena competed at the NSDA Quarterfinals and became the first female debater from her county to qualify for the Tournament of Champions. 

Since 2022, she has worked as a contributor and tournament judge for Equality in Forensics. Beyond the lab and competitive arena, she is passionate about expanding access to medical devices, health policy, and debate education. Known as a charismatic leader, Athena continues to empower the younger generation as a member of the Board of Directors.
