Aanya is a junior at Lambert High School in Georgia, where she serves as captain of the speech and debate team and competes in Public Forum Debate.

She previously served as Equality in Forensics' inaugural Deputy Director of Grants, where she applied for multiple thousands of dollars in grants and helped the organization get recognized as a semifinalist for the NSDA Activating Equity Award. She also coordinated closely with the Financial Director to track a variety of expenses and donation efforts for the nonprofit, while helping lead efforts to reincorporate the 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Florida to better access financial information for the Board Emeritus.

As Financial Director, Aanya prepares all tax documents to comply with IRS regulations as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, such that all donations to Equality in Forensics remain tax-deductible. She also tracks all donations and expenses for the organization to ensure longevity and growth of the nonprofit's operations.
